North Clearwater Beach

After the heavy rains stopped (and an unhurried lunch), we headed to the beach.  With dark clouds threatening and occasional drizzle, we had no problem finding a parking spot at the beach.  Getting there was a bit of a hassle - lots of traffic, pedestrians and shoppers along the strip of restaurants and shops.  I cannot imagine this circus "in season".  No thank you.

The beach was so wide!  Based on the available parking spots, I cannot imagine there is ever any crowding of beach blankets.

We managed more than 2 miles in the strong winds on the sometimes soft, sometimes prickly with shells sand and around the rising tide.  It was nice to walk with a warm "breeze" at a leisurely pace knowing there was only the 7 minute car ride back to the condo.

Dinner and a movie at the condo - perfect after so many days and dinners out.
