To Trust or Not to Trust?
Yup, we wound up stopping at South of the Border for gas and a quick walk to stretch our legs. More people than our last stop but still eerily quiet. And just as strange.
We had intermittent rain, pouring rain, misty rain, sun, fog and wind. The weather was all over the place. So were the drivers - 9 accidents causing numerous delays between Emporia, Virginia and Palm Coast, Florida. Nine! Thankfully none looked serious.
And Siri. Our settings were good. Our address in Palm Coast was good. And yet... she took us down some side roads to help avoid the accident traffic but it's debatable whether we actually saved any time.
Then this:
I had to wonder if Siri actually knew we were just north of Florida. In April. With temperatures in the low 80s. What was not plowed? Ugh. To trust or not to trust? We made it to Palm Coast just after 7 pm. Another long day but the next few days are much, much shorter.
Word of the day - Yeoubi. Korean for sunshower, rain falling while the sun is shining. Yup, we saw yeoubi in our travels today.
American Circus Day. We loved the Big Apple Circus which came to Ninigret Park in Charlestown, RI for years. Small, very entertaining and set beside a playground - perfect for kids. Back: Kyle (neighbor), Kevin, Peter, Lindsay (friend of Meg), Megan
