Sunset on Mooselookmeguntic Lake

Last night's brilliant sunset on Mooselookmeguntic Lake.

Today's forecast - 60s with some clouds, no wind and no precipitation.  So we set out to paint the steel beams.  We were just starting when the drizzle began.  By the second beam - real rain.  Ugh!

After a three hour rain delay - we restarted. We persevered through the wind and the puddles.  We managed to complete 4 1/2 beams before we ran out of paint.

                                                                Loving the ladder!

                                                    A definite difference.

Today's holiday (just established in 2025) is National Horse Lover Day.  What's not to love!

Rupert after rolling in the snow 2013.

And my favorite photo of the day (yes, I am still thinning the 40,000+ on my laptop):

The irony of being nicknamed Banana Kris when everyone knows I do not like bananas!  Love the kid that started it all though!  And really nice of TJ to remember when making sandwiches for our outing to Newport last summer!
