Effulgence

Today we began the preparation for fence installation.  First to go - the bushes along the back line.

The removal of the bush was the easy part.  We headed to Megan and TJs for barrels (small debris), loppers, and a trailer for the branches.  After searching for a hitch and ball the trailer was too small for the Atlas.  Ugh.  New plan.  Refit Kevin's trailer.  After a trip to Harbor Freight and Lowes we were good to start.  While Paul cleared the trailer (full of wood for Isis' garden), I began the process of removing branches.
With the trailer loaded and the barrels full we were good.  Nope.  No lights and expired registration.  We headed to Meg's anyway.  Easy peasey throwing the branches down her back hill.  Back to Kevin's without incident.

Since it was mid day at this point (and 93 degrees) we decided it was time to quit and switch to indoor (where there is AC) chores.  Laundry.  Cooking.  And then I accidently dropped the container of  baking soda into the fridge.  Ugh.  Now the fridge is clean though!

Definitely time for  a break - a movie, reading and an attempt to nap.  Yummy salmon for dinner.  Kevin even managed to clear the kitchen table so we could eat together!

Then game night with the kids.  It is always a pleasure to watch and listen.  Tonight's theme - high school.  Scott and Rebecca graduated in 2020.  A strange year that made their experience unique.
This was the first time I actually saw his senior photo.  And the quote!  As if Scott ever does nothing!

And Rebecca and her sister - beautiful and witty!

Nationaal Wyoming Day.  We visited in March 2020 with tons of snow and perfect conditions for snowmobiling through Yellowstone - priceless!

Word of the day - effulgence.  Meaning radiant splendor or brilliance.
