Getting "It" Done

 Now that the smoke has cleared (Canadian fires) the sun was out and the breeze delightful.  We spent the day outside getting "it" done.  While I swept and raked, Paul fixed the right rear wheel bearing in my car.

And two days into our stay the garden is thriving,

The chicken is happy, clucking and laying her egg,

Fenway is enjoying his naps,

Tallulah is doing her job keeping the barna nd yard rodent free,

TK seems unfazed with the change of who is feeding him, as long as he gets his grain and hay,

And Rupert has become very verbal when I come with his shredded carrots.

 

The only change - dragonfly is dead and has been "buried" and Annie has traveled to Maine with Scott and Rebecca.

Word of the day - pernoctate.  Meaning pass the night somewhere.
