Itinerant

An absolutely beautiful sunny, warm day.  Coffee on the back deck was the perfect way to start the day.  It no longer feels like fall but a perfect summer day in Maine.

Paul began the task of measuring and staking the footprint for the carport.

Meanwhile I continued the process of washing the interior of the boat.

The ski locker was the worst.  I found standing water and lots of dirt but thankfully no critters.  After an initial wash most of the dirt was removed.  It spent the remainder of the day in the hot sun drying nicely.  After our scrub brush arrives from Amazon (apparently we have none here!) - I will complete the cleaning.

When we pulled the wet/dry vac out, we found some critter's stash!

The water skis cleaned easily.  The tow rope - not so much, it had to be trashed.  (Another Amazon order.)

And then we headed south to Farmington to see Bob Marley.  The venue was the outdoor drive-in - warm, beautiful sunset and great people watching started our night.  Then of course "Uncle Bobby" had us in stitches.  Yard sales, "free" stuff at the end of driveways, families and family gatherings, kids today compared to kids in the 1970s and self checkouts.  Always a good show.

Word of the day - itinerant.  Meaning someone who travels place to place or stays in a place for only a short amount of time.  This might be us!  We head back to RI early next week again.
