Peregrinate

What better way to start the day then a brisk walk with a good friend.  We started early with temps already in the low 80s.  It was awesome!  Just over 3 1/2 miles is easy when catching up and talk, talk, talking.  (Though I did little talking walking up Marshall Ave!)

Today we went over train tracks, through the corner of the Blackstone Valley Bike Path and over the Blackstone River.

Lunch with Maddy at Everybody's Favorite (since Bandidos no longer opens at 11am but noon!).  We are proud of how grown up you have become and it was nice to catch up!

Then onward to Rangeley.  We were not alone.  The roads were packed with vacationers headed north.  But with Spotify (thank you again Meg!) we were entertained.  Billy Joel, Pitbull, Elton John and Meatloaf kept us singing and dancing.  Only 6 1/2 hours later we arrived (normal 5 hours).

Now we relax!

Word of the day - peregrinate.  Meaning to take a trip especially of some distance.
