We Love Rupert!

I Love Horses Day and Celebration of the Horse Day.  Horses have been such a huge part of our lives for so many years.  Rupert has always been sweet and patient with the kids.  And he gives the best hugs!

While Paul built the back deck gate, I took care of the animals, washed curtains and windows and cut the grass.

                                                No more escapees!

My feet were a bit dirty after all those outside chores!

I also shredded carrots for Rupert.  Since he
essentially has no teeth left, large chunks are no longer an option.

And despite having multiple cat "boxes" scattered through the house, Tallulah has decided the sock box is her favorite.  She has settled down for an early night "nap".

Word of the day - loquacious.  Meaning likes to talk and talks smoothly and easily.  This word popped up the year Scott turned one.  He was very loquacious.  His first sentence at 10 months old - "Daddy where are you?".  (He is still looking!)
