Keeping Busy in Daytona
So glad we enjoyed yesterday's warmth and sun. Today our morning walk was chilly, cloudy and with a hint of drizzle. We wound up visiting the Daytona Outreach Center, a thrift store that directly benefits the residents of Daytona. The store is neat, clean and full of lots of stuff.
I found an almost new backgammon set. And since I do not have a set on the boat - I bought it for the low sum of $10. Of course Paul kicked my butt. Nice to have something new to pass the time.Mid afternoon found it sunny and a bit warmer. Paul changed the oil on the car while I read in a beach chair in the sun. And a second walk to the Hardware store before dinner. (Paul did not purchase enough oil.)
The rest of the afternoon was spent reading and watching movies. My newest book I can't put down - Waterway Guide to the Bahamas. Full of information to ensure we have the best adventure with minimal hiccups. Hints on grocery shopping, trash and waste in addition to snorkeling and fishing tips. I am more than ready!
