Bushes and Bunnies

First I need to post a picture I took yesterday but forgot to share.  While picking up Brianna at her elementary school, in a very quaint neighborhood, the bike racks were full.

How cute these scooters look "parked" for the day.

Today's goal - pull three bushes out of the front of Kevin and Isis' home.  The evergreens were blocking windows and access to outlets and the outside faucet.
The lower branches were removed in order to attach the chains for pulling.

Two came out easily with minimal mess.          The third required cutting roots and made a mess.

Loaded onto the trailer and transported to our "dump" site.

Even Brianna managed to help throw the smaller branches down the hill.

The "dump" site behind Megan's pool is the best spot for organic debris!

And now the windows can be seen and everything looks open and fresh.

 Almost like the original!

Michael sitting on the front steps.

And because we managed to complete the task early - we headed to Megan's to help with fall cleanup.  The cover is in place on the pool - thank you everyone for helping!  So much easier with many hands.

The solar cover in the rafters and the vegetable garden torn apart.  Despite the almost 80 degrees today - summer is over.

International Rabbit Day.  We had many rabbits through the years.  Megan's first arrived on Easter Sunday 1999.  Thumper was an easy rabbit.  Subsequent rabbits, not so much.

We had rabbits chew telephone cords (way back!).  One managed to jam herself in the fridge coils and we thought we would never get her out!  Most were litter boxed trained but not all.  All were rescues that wound up at our place because, "Why not one more?"
All were super cute though!

The plan - back to Megan's tomorrow to help with her To Do list.
