Double Folly
Our 4 am departure from Lincoln was wet. Pouring rain and fog accompanied us for many miles. We made it through New York and over the Washington bridge with some traffic but not horrible. Then Siri sent us through New Jersey via Route 78. Okay. When entering the destination with one eye open at 4am, I chose Savannah. We just needed general directions through New York, Washington and then probably Virginia. Savannah seemed a logical choice. Similar to the roads we traveled home on just weeks ago, we figured the Washington DC traffic must be horrific and we were being rerouted to save time. We didn't think anything of it.
