Fence Posts and Sombreros

We left Rangeley early and headed to Dixmont, Maine to pick up 30 fence posts from a very nice man in a very old barn.  But at more than $600 savings - we were happy to travel through the back roads of Maine.  Beautiful farms, barely any traffic and a gorgeous day made the extra miles almost painless.

After 8 hours on the road we made a quick drop off at Megan and TJs - new nursery curtains hung and Fenway back with his pal Annie.

Then dinner at Bandidos.  Scott and Rebecca were able to join us and while I enjoyed my fish tacos...

                                        Paul enjoyed his taco salad.

And because Scott gave us grief over the bill, I mentioned his birthday to the waitress.  (His birthday is Friday.)  So - he had to wear the sombrero and listen to the staff sing Happy Birthday in Spanish!

Pablo (Paul) also had to wear a sombrero!

Life lesson - don't argue with your parents over the bill!

Word of the day - zingy.  Meaning spicy, sharp and pleasantly stimulating to the mind or senses.
