Quiescent

 National Lazy Day.  We opted not to participate due to the fact we took the weekend off and the carport awaits.  But to recognize the holiday, I found some lazy kids!

                                    Paul, Megan and Papa in 1998.  Trying to get to sleep either

                                     at nap time or bedtime - not always easy!  Here even Papa tried to help!

                                                Kevin 2001  He never  had a sleep issue.

                                    Scott 2003 asleep in the driveway.  He can sleep anywhere!

While I did laundry, some cleaning and sketching, Paul cut each post to the correct height then notched out the area for the beams.

                                Then we lifted the last two beams into place and secured them.   

A temporary board to check for roof height and pitch is in place.  

A successful day with the last of the super heavy lifting completed.  The weather was very cooperative with a nice breeze, some clouds and temps in the low70s.  Perfect working weather.
