West Palm Beach, Florida

Thank you Marc and Molly for inviting us to the community BBQ!  Cornhole, live music, a petting zoo and yummy BBQ including brisket, coleslaw, corn bread, ribs, corn on the cob and so much more.  An impressive event.

Though the weather threatened (thunder and rain in North Palm), the night remained dry with a nice breeze in West Palm.
                                                     Walking Bella with storms threatening.

This morning Paul and I walked the Green Market in West Palm.  With 146 vendors there was plenty to look at and the people watching - epic.  Parking was easy (not free) and the bathrooms were clean (long line though).  And Lennie - I bought you a duck!

Unfortunately the waterfront was blocked due to the upcoming boat show and vendor preparation.

We wound up having an early lunch at ER Bradley's Saloon.  Shaded, huge fans giving a nice breeze and DJ music being played - a nice stop after walking 3 miles in the hot sun.

And the nachos - really good!

A stop at Phil Foster Park on the way back to Marc's - awful.  Crowded on a Saturday and no car parking available, we "parked" in the trailer section to watch the boat ramp without ever getting out of the car.  The extremely rude sheriff made us "move along" while swearing at us and another car.  Great welcome!

Marc beat me by 3 points at Cribbage.  Paul napped.  A fast afternoon.

The plan - pack as much as we can from the storage unit into the car and check the boat tomorrow.
