Let the Digging Begin!

 Today began with an early morning Home Depot delivery.  One pallet of cement and sonic tubes and a second pallet with chain link and assorted fence parts.  Too big to fit in the driveway, he unloaded our pallets in the street. Drove them down the driveway, And positioned them where Paul directed - cement in the garage (rain predicted for tomorrow) and fence parts on the side of the garage. While Paul staked and ran string along the proposed fence line, I began the front gardens.  The flower bed in the front yard is virtually impossible to keep weed free - so it is going. The daisies have been potted for transplant at a later time and the curbing was removed. With the front gardens, I tackled the smallest section first - between the porch and the garage. With fabric and thick mulch base - may the weeds be few and far between! The next section - full of bees and gnats.  So it took a bit longer since I had to keep walking away. Happy Anniversary!

 Happy Anniversary to us!  Only 36 years ago today we made it official.  So many adventures with more to come.  Awesome kids who have chosen awesome partners and a growing family that we get to enjoy!                                                                              Paul and me late 1980s.
