International Cloud Appreciation Day
International Cloud Appreciation Day. Until we began sailing clouds were pretty and interesting. Now I look at them differently - how fast they move and change, how the light shifts through the different layers and how they can change the water. And who even knew there is a Cloud Appreciation Society!
Lunch with friends at Bandidos - so many laughs and memories.
Then dinner and cards with the kids. Eggplant casserole (thank you Karen for the garden eggplant!) and Continental (Megan won.). A quick night so we can sleep early and depart before sunrise.
Word of the day - penumbra. Meaning partial darkness due to the obstruction of light rays, shadow.
