September 25: Day 7: At Sea
After a “sleep-in” (8am), we settled into our “spot”. Though it was mostly in the sun, Paul calculated shade would be in our near future. My goal for the morning: catch up on organizing the hundreds of pictures I took on each island and type my thoughts and activities for each day. Three days of island hopping was fun and crazy and exhausting. Today – chill!
Cards (Paul won every hand), reading (on my last book!) and of course, people watching. Paul played trivia and came in 14 out of 43!
Fish tacos for lunch. Yes, again! Soooo yummy!
I Nyoman, from the Red Frog bar, took care of all day with plenty of ice and ice water. Oh, and he separated our beer into his and hers!
Foosball – Paul won every game! (He is on a roll today!)
And because we had not walked in the morning, we took a
stroll around the ship.
The stairwells – empty.
The corridors – empty. The casino
– full. The Lido deck and pool –
full! Without taking the elevator, we
managed 2 ½ miles of exploring.
Dinner is enjoyable with our awesome wait staff. Paul makes Inioman, our main waiter, very nervous. Having told him of his carrot allergy, Inioman now frets every time a carrot comes to our table. Tonight, Paul’s shrimp came o top of a bed of slaw with carrots. It took some serious convincing for him to leave it on the table for Paul to consume. He nervously paced nearby until the end of the meal.

King and others. Very good show with
high energy and awesome songs.
The opening act though…. Dexter, from the piano Bar we have yet to visit, was awful. (I am being kind.) I know he was playing to the audience and trying to increase participation but his singing and renditions – butchering. Some had me laughing harder than the comedian last night. Note to self – skip the piano bar!
