Maddie Antics

Maddie continues to be a huge part of the fence installation.  Since we use the tractor to help pull the chain link tight, Paul moves it around the yard.  Maddie needs to check it out every step of the way!

Despite a later than usual start, we managed to complete the entire left side.  We have become experts at piecing together chain link and twisting links in or out depending on the space.

Word of the day - lulliloo.  Meaning to shout joyously in the manner of various African peoples.

This morning Paul switched out the pump for the spare we had on board.  Another spare has been ordered and we will grab from Marc's when we get to Palm Beach. (Thank you Marc for being our Amazon drop!) I managed a couple batches laundry and tried to dry some outside but despite being super windy, everythi...

Merry Christmas!  Paul and I spent the day in the least stressful, most pleasant and blessed way.  Church with Scott and Rebecca - perfect start.  Breakfast by TJ with Megan and Brianna - yum!  An early afternoon nap.  A visit with Mom, Karen and Alan and briefly with Layla.  Back to Megan's to feed all the animals dinner - both horses, both dogs and the cat.  A final clean up of Christmas Eve festivities.  Back to Kevin and Isis' to dog sit, relax and watch a movie.  All serene and low key - priceless. A beautiful sunset: Thank you Nick for posting this picture on social media.  Too cute!                                                                                       ...
