Phase 3 - In Progress

                                                Rainbow from Dallas Hill Road

                                                Sunset on Rangeley Lake

Jim and his crew of two showed up early to place the forms and the insulation.

Paul was able to help a bit moving the fill onto the edges of the insulation on a couple sides of the site.  Unfortunately due to the continued wet weather and problems with the tractor's front end - the other sides had to be shoveled by hand.

Wire is placed on top of the insulation awaiting the cement.  Delivery is still scheduled for Wednesday.

The finished site looks good!

And while the boys were playing in the dirt - I put the first coat on the hope chest.
Before pic (although I did start on the right side before snapping the pic)

After the first coat.  I love the color and am
looking forward to the seeing how the additional coats highlight the grains.

And Mike H. (There are a lot of Mikes up here!) came by for a look see.  He and his crew will be unloading the garage from the 18 wheeler, moving it to our site and assisting in the assembly.

We ordered the garage door from Builder's Supply in town.  ETA is 4 weeks and they will deliver to the house.

And the library is closed on Mondays!  So we will watch an old movie.

The plan - hope chest, library and still hoping for a hike!

(PS - more wedding pics added)
