The Bike Stop Cafe

Another whirlwind day that disappeared quick.  This morning we completed errands - LL Bean for a new travel bag for our toiletries (thank you mom!), Wright's Dairy Farm (thinking of you Lisa M 💜), Lennie's Easter bag drop off (sorry we missed her though!) and then Walmart for a couple essentials (TP, ketchup).

Then dinner with Mom at a new (to us) restaurant.  Our intended spot - Matunuck Oyster Bar - closed temporarily!  So onward to The Bike Stop Cafe in Narragansett.  Cute decor, a bit loud due to an adult birthday party and Bingo night, yummy food (sticky wings, mozzarella meatballs and peanut butter pie), a bit slow on service and reasonably priced.  A definite return on a non- bingo night when they have a full menu.

Paul was attempting to take a selfie and this was the result!

Then a leisurely scenic ride back to drop Mom off.  Sand Hill Cove is STILL under construction more than a year past the completion date!  Gorgeous sunset though!

The plan - spend tomorrow cleaning and packing in preparation for very early morning departure on Thursday.

Today is Crayola Crayon Day.  Who doesn't remember that feeling of opening a brand new box of crayons, all with sharp points just waiting to be used?  I loved coloring and can recall having Ma (maternal grandmother) help" me color in my coloring books.  Little circles around the edges then complete the middle.  I still find myself doing those little circles!
