Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum

Our morning adventure - The Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum.  When thinking of music and the greatest songs, the thought of the logistics -  minimal.  The composer, engineers, band - all just a passing thought.  This museum focuses on all the great musicians behind the artists.  A museum very well done.  Lots of interactive areas where everyone can be the star singing or the engineer adjusting the sounds or be the drummer, keyboard or guitarist.

                                            The silver and platinum wall.

Tons of memorabilia, anecdotes and narrated history.  This museum was more than anticipated.  I highly recommend!

After a very quick lunch in a sketchy park we headed to Marathon Works.  Since Paul and I had visited a few days ago and thought a revisit with the kids would be appreciated.  The multitude of varied shops and distillery was a no brainer.  The girls "shopped" and were pleased.  I meanwhile managed a few Christmas gifts and more history.

Sally, the "manager" of one of the shops.

Multiple belts used in the machine shop.

The pulley system of the shop.

After an early dinner we went to the nearby park to expend energy.  All was good until a race between the girls resulted in a face plant and a sudden need for a bathroom meant a return to the house.  Cards, snacks, a movie and bedtime came quick.
Good luck repacking all those shoes!

                                        Snacks watching Madagascar 3.

The plan - early departure for the kids. 😄
