National Zoo Awareness Day
National Zoo Awareness Day. We have visited so many zoos over the years but Roger Williams Zoo in Providence was a favorite. By purchasing a yearly pass we were able to explore frequently.

Christmas Eve Day 2002
The camel is no longer available for sitting on but is behind a fence. 😢
Today was all about preparing for our upcoming projects. First - the stupid market for fresh fruit and veggies and the makings for dinner - pizza. Then Home Depot. While Paul begins the fence I plan to weed, lay down fabric barrier and mulch the front gardens for Kevin and Isis. A much smaller area than Megan and TJs, I expect to finish in a couple days. Paul, on the other hand, has a big job ahead. After digging 30 holes with the tractor, the posts will be cemented into place. With heavy rains predicted this week, the plan to dig holes, place sonic tubes and backfill before Friday may be a challenge. Home Depot will be delivering the larger items (chain link, gate materials and a pallet of cement) Wednesday morning.
Word(s) of the day - alarums and excursions. Meaning commotion, a state of noisy, confused activity.
