Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!  Though this year has proven a bit less exciting than many years, I love this holiday.  This is the only holiday where food does not matter.  Where there are no expectations except to have FUN!  For so many years we celebrated the holiday on the Saturday before Halloween and had a BLAST!  Our goal - scare the kids!

2001 (I remember about half of the kids!)

2003 (I think we were insane - I don't recall this many children!)

This morning TJ worked overtime which meant we could help by watching Charlotte while Megan took care of the horses , chickens, dogs and cat.  My pleasure!

The poor thing has hiccups frequently.

Our "Weekend at Bobs" officially ended when taking Marc and Molly to the airport.  Time flies when having fun.  And that we did!  Definitely looking forward to a repeat next year!

A stop at Lowe's on the way back to pick up a few items for this week's coming projects.  A nap at the house (late nights and early mornings are adding up), the onto Bandidos for dinner.
                                                    Modelo and house margarita

                                                            Paul's taconon salad

                                                                          My shrimp tacos

Very cozy and dressed for the holiday.

Word of the day - quiescent.  Meaning slow to move or act, tranquility at rest.
